  • flipping cats!!!

I thought my cats had been eating an awful lot of biscuits lately ...... they usually have some down all the time, and i leave the back window open so they can come and eat whenever ....... just now i heard a hell of a row, hissing snarling cat fighting type sounds, i thought Asbo was beating Cleo up ....... but no, there was a ginger cat pinned in the corner of the kitchen with the 2 cats ganging up on him every time he moved ....... then i heard even more as murphy who lives up the road, also came and joined in ..... cue massive cat fight, and tons of fur everywhere..... think i might start leaving the window closed when i'm in

ps all cats now firmly chucked out in garden the little thieves seem to have gone. and there doesn't appear to be any massive blood loss

lol, wouldn't mind if the cats didn't have homes to go to, mind you i've no idea where the ginger one has come from, but my 2 really don't like him.

I often used to find murphy asleep upstairs, cos he's sort of friends with Asbo,(they tolerate each other from about a 2 foot distance, but follow each other round) but Cleo really doesn't like other cats in her house.

Our cats let anyone through the cat flap but not in the garden. One waits till one of us is looking at whats going on then charges at the offending cat with gusto then looks at us with a smirk as if to say well I got rid of it. The other one does nothing at all and lets them all in. He even puts up with the other cat she lies in wait for him most of the time and pounces he does nothing and then sometimes she kisses him.

I have had to lock the catflap now at night, due to be woken regularly at 3 am, by an almighty row, barking , hissing screeching, becuase it was fixed to IN ONLY, another cat kept getting in, and even after the dog chasing him the first time, was to thick to realise he couldn't get back out and did it again the next night and the next.

on the last occasion, the dog had chased him up under the boys bunkbed, I had to lock the dog in my room, wake the boys up, lock all my cats ( 4 adults 2 kittens) in the bathroom, after catching them off course. leave the front door open, and then prod said terrified giant of a black thing, with the broom to get him out and down the stairs.

yep! that cat flap stays locked at night now.

Why is it always the gingers?!? There's one round here that beats up my kitty. Well, I think my kitty starts it, but fights like a pansy and gets the abscesses! Hope yours' aren't prone!

no, but Asbo does like sitting on my knee so i can pick his scabs off

i always shut the window at night, cats are usually in by about 10 for their supper, then i say come on bed time, and both them and the dog race upstarirs to figt over the best sleeping spot.

my dog lets any strange cats in the house, but can't stand them in the garden either, she keeps out of the way when theres a cat fight

                    Asbo ... I like it.

Our tomcat Smutty used to invite the neighbouring boy-cats in for dinner. He batted for both sides I think (he fathered lots of kittens with Lucy the cute grey tabby next door)
