    well got up this morning to find frost on the cars.
    got to go down the plot and see whats what does anyone else think its early for the first frost?
    Some things in their natural state have the most VIVID colors

    Didn't realise that it had got that close to us last night, according to my outside max / min thermometer it only got down to about 7 degrees but am ready with the fleece if necessary!

    Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

    Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

      No, not that early - our first frost is usually late September here, so it's about right. Bit late even.
      I think it's coz we had no proper summer, so it seems too early for frost!

          Friday night for me - that's the earliest I remember it for a long time. Bye bye dahlias...and pumpkins....and courgettes......

            I think that's what happened to my spuds in pots. Making a trip to local DIY store tonight to get a roll of fleece for other nightsa.....

                Not quite frost, and the plants are all still OK, but we got down to 2 degrees Saturday morning 4th October. Much earlier than the last two years, but it's warmed up a bit now.
