  • Finding Threads during the Troubles!

Please stop whingeing about it - it's EEEEEEEAAAAASY, honest!

Start on the main page. ie Click on 'FORUM' Top left.

From there, open whichever sections you want (ie cmd/click on Mac - I think it's right click on PC?) on 'Rule the Roost' for example, to open that section in a new tab. This leaves the original tab open, so you can just go back to it as and when you need to.

You can also do this on any other sections you regularly use; such as 'Vegging Out' and 'General Chitchat' so you can have as many tabs open as you choose.

From whichever tab you then choose to read first, just do the same again to open any particular threads you want to read in separate tabs.

It's what I did for nearly two years until someone mentioned the 'New Posts' button, that I hadn't even noticed existed D'oh! What a doofus!

    SIIIIIMPLES!

Now, just got to sort out why it keeps showing me threads I haven't read (in bold) when I have already read them...

Good posting there G4,I think that as each new function is added to make things easy then we become accustomed to using it & become that little bit lazy on the occasions that it no longer works.
In all honesty I spend my time in general & vegging out so it has a minimal impact on me

Glad you mentioned this G4 'cos that's had me confused for ages, and for a long time before the upgrade too. When you find out, let me know!

... and it's not showing unread threads as bold, so I'm missing a lot. I'm not going to whinge anymore, I'm just going to go read a book instead
