  • Feeling sorry for self

    Feeling sorry forself today as I was hit in my car by someone that didn't bother to look and turned across the front of me. Car a bit bent and shoulder hurting like mad! Husband went into super protective mode and thought he was going to strangle the driver, dogs in the car, nightmare!

    Can't garden and have weeds to tackle! Doctor says its going to be two months before i am back in action....how much do weeds grow in 2 months (really don't want to think about it!)

    Oh poor you! Don't even think about the weeds (maybe hubby will help). I wish you a speedy recovery.

        Oh dear Sprocket! That's just bad that is!!! At least you're ok (ish) well still alive anyway. I hope you don't feel too sore, and I'll send the fairies over to tell the weeds to go on strike for the next 3 months Big hugs better hun {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

          well obviously you have my sympathies.
          It happened to me on my pushbike a month ago. Went over the bonnet, hit the windscreen, then hit the tarmac on the other side.

              Look after yourself Sprocket. Forget about the weeds. As long as you are allright that's the main thing. You could try for garden help in your insurance claim.

                Ouch Sprocket. 2 months - that's not good.

                Rest up now, and keep taking the painkillers.

                      (((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) sprocket, its a terrible thing to have happened, make sure u go see a good solicitor next week and sue for injuries! I hope you get over the shock soon and make a quick recovery. Dont worry about the weeds, they will be easier to pull out in 2 months! If you have kids, you could bribe them lol
                      Dont worry about tomorrow, live for today

                          Get hubby to deadhead the flowering weeds ... don't expect him to pull up every last one, but if he can stop them seeding all over your plot it will help a lot.

                              Thankyou to you all, I feel so much better now. In terms of the weeds I was thinking of asking the man that hit me to come and lend a hand! Ha Ha!!! Or training my Spaniel to dig them out - he is a wizz at stones but doesn't seem to notice the plants.....

                              Big hug to you all, you are so kind
