this isn't just any cold, this is an M&S cold........ remedies needed please, needs to go before saturday, this is day 3 and its the worst i've been so far

Veggielover - I'm on day 5 of roughly the same - just been prescribed anti-biotics! If you have pains in the glands just below the ear you have an infection (green mucus is also a sign). Only one remedy, really - talk to the doc!Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to? -
The pain in the ears, it feels like i'm on a plane coming into land only they haven't popped back yet!!Comment

Have you tried Propolis from Holland and Barrett. Not only are they delish but are better than Lockets etc.Comment

Doctor. Antibiotics. Hot bath with a few drops of eucalyptus oil in. Sorry no alcahol -not a good combo with antibiotics!When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!

Karvol plug in vaporiser for overnight - it may well not help overall, but cuts down on the whole not being able to sleep due to coughing and congestion for me at least!
Also, a hot ginger root, lemon and honey "tea" has always helped a little. It's meant to have garlic in as well, but I was never brave enough to try.
Sounds like the one I had a month back - ended up with a sinus infection and stabbing ear pain which resulted in antibiotics which finally did the trick.

lol, thanks for suggestions, Stella i want it gone by saturday as i have a friends birthday party and its 80's themed, i've not been out for a while and i'm quite looking forward to dressing 80's style and bopping to the 80's music. Hoping to get to doc tomorrow and have my ears looked at............Comment
