  • Dried flowers

I've just cut back some of our ivy and collected some of the flowers.
I'm quite keen to dry the flowers with the intention of spraying them bronze for Xmas .
I'm not sure how to dry them. Do they need to be hung upside down like most 'floppy'flowers - or is it OK just to leave them somewhere warm on say newspaper, and just keep turning them??

    Advice please!!

I would hang them upside down somewhere airy.I've never tried drying ivy before.

I usually pick it fresh for Christmas - the berries go a lovely purple/black - dead dramatic. Bit late though if you've already cut it back.

Ne'mind eh? On reading properly I find you saved the flowers anyway - I use the berries.
