  • Dress for my Sisters wedding - Update

Well my bed looks like a bomb has hit it! I have tried on all 8 dresses that I ordered and think only 1 is suitable My daughter has a friend round on a Tuesday and I was going into them each time and they were either saying yes or (more often than not) no. I must admit I agreed with them on 90% of their opinions and even though they are only 6 they show a great sense of style! Some they said looked nice but were more suited to a party than a wedding. I will try them all on again in front of my friend tomorrow for a final decision but thought you might like to see the 1 on the shortlist!

Dont think a hat would suit me! I will start looking for some shoes and matching bag - possibly in another coliur to inject some colour in the outfit?

Be back later - darling son just poohed his pants, smashed the glass in a picture in his room AND thrown a tub of map pins down the stairs - no idea where he got those from. Oh I love my life!!! LOL!!! - and I want another one - I MUST be mad!!!

Ah now, see everyone can look good in a hat. It is all about confidance and getting the right shape for your face - be brave.
I reckon if you keep to the black and white you will look far more chic. White pashmina, black shoes and a white with black trim hat.

Very nice. Something you can wear again always good to have.

              I think it's very pretty!
As it's a wedding, I would add a bit of colour- although I have gone to a wedding wearing charcoal grey!!( ???ivory/cream???)

Hat would also look good if you suit them?? ( hard to say when the only piccie of you I've seen is you inside a play-pen!!!)

The only problem I see is that it might not be very practical on the lottie once you've worn it out!

Probably more suitable for a wedding, still love the red dress. This dress will wow with the right accessories. Expect to see photos when you are dressed to the nines!

I think that one is really pretty (guess those 6 year old fashionistas know a thing or two!). What matters though is how you 'feel'. Is it comfortable? Not just in terms of fit but in terms of how you want to look. Does it flatter your boobs/bum? Do you feel slinky and gorgeous (we all know you are!)? Doesn't matter what a frock actually costs but it's nice when you can step out feeling like 'a million dollars'
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I like this one better than the other two, classic colour scheme and great shape if you have the chest for it. Coloured accessories would be good, but so too would toning accessories and brave makeup. either way you will look great in the dress and it will go well from daytime to evening.

I love this one too. The V-neck will be very flattering with the right bra underneath and the flared skirt will be flattering over the hips. Pics please, whatever you decide!!
