I'm sorry to hear it, although I don't know who he is. (I know, I live under a bucket in The Sticks!) My own Dad died as a result of Prostate Cancer. It's very cruel.

Ah Easy Rider - unforgettable. He lived a life on the edge.

I think he's one of those film stars that you've seen in film's but can't remember who he was, he was in Speed, Blue Velvet, Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now with Marlon Brando & Martin Sheen, to name a few.

It's a great loss. May he rest in peace.

My pal, who is a huge fillum buff was devastated by this news.

I didn't realise he'd (Dennis that is, not my pal) made he debut in Rebel Without a Cause. I've never seen the film, but just last week I was channel hopping and stopped at the fight scene and spotted who I was sure was a very young looking Dennis Hopper in the background.

                  Loved him in True Romance.

I'm with Flum, I'd never heard of him.
Watched a thingy about him though on TV yesterday and he said that working with James Dean (which I guess would have been the Rebel Without a Cause thingy?) was his best ever film experience.
