  • Dehydrator for a donation

I have a spare classic cuisine 5 storey dehydrator going.....well, spare. Its that time of year when the gluts are appearing and a dehydrator is a real boon in preserving your own foods.

I will send it post free but the person recieving must donate at least a tenner to the Helping Heather fund. Pm me if interested and I will pick someone at random if more than one person shows an interest.

    Nice gesture PW.

I already have a dehydrator but need more produce and good suggestions as to how to make it worthwhile
    Happy Gardening,

I want to make a donation regardless if i get the dehydrator or not.

Can you tell me how i go about doing that.

        Thanks

I am guessing the dehydrator is now gone, Pigletwillie, but have PMed you anyway incase you are doing a draw.
Have just been looking at buying one. (typical)

Thanks for the link SarzWix. I tried that link and tried to make a donation through paypal, but it came up that the recipient is unable to accept funds at this time.

Apart from sending a cheque (which i would prefer not to do) is there any other way pigletwillie to make a donation.

              Thanks

              VM

PS, i really hope the treatment works for her and will say a prayer that she makes a good recovery.

Veggiemama, it's possible that she's stopped accepting donations because she's already raised the required amount - I'm looking into it

Thanks for the link too, Sarzwix.
Out of interest, two of my sister's had Hodgkin's lymphoma (one of whom didnt make it
) and my Dad has a rarer mutation of it that there is no cure for, I know how devastating and dibilitating it is, and really hope Heather has indeed managed to get enough money for the CHT25 treatment, and it is successful.

I've just checked Pigletwillie's link at the top of this page, which takes you to Facebook. The last entry in July states she has had the treatment and is going in for a scan to see how it's worked.

Hopefully it will be good news and give hope to many others.

Thanks for the interest, the winner was picked by my cat (names on paper, screwed up and tossed at her) and will be informed asap

                        Thanks all for the interest.
