Thumbs up December's MOM is over, long live January's MOM!
As the year now comes to an end, so does my reign as December's MOM, so before I bow out gracefully I thought I'd just like to post and say how fab it has been being the Mom! I have thoroughly enjoyed being December's MOM, and as my time is coming to an end I thought I'd just post and say thanks to all for putting up with me, thanks to the mods for voting me in as MOM, thanks to all those who were MOM before me for providing such good examples of how to do it, and thanks to GYO for the wonderful mag, forum and the great goody bag!

Now, in the tradition started by Snadger, here's a little poem by me!

Decembers MOM is no more, Long Live January's MOM!

As December comes now to its ends,
It's time for this MOM to say to her friends,
'Its been great, such a wonderful time!
To be the MOM has been most fine!
But now my time is coming to a close,
Along with this short bit of prose!
So now I hand over the crown so fair,
To someone else to put atop their hair!'

'So, thanks to all who made it so much fun,
Grapes one and all if you'll excuse the pun!
Thanks to the mods for their support aswell,
They do a fine job, as we can all tell!
Thanks to GYO for being there,
Giving us advice and news in a mag so fair!
Thanks for the MOM pack, what can I say!
Opening it up really made my day!'

Nothing more is there left to add,
Though I know I wont be sad,
Returning to normal as one of the grapes,
Will still let me join in all the japes!
The only thing now left to see,
Is who will now follow on from me?
Now with a tear in my eye I bid being MOM farewell,
And bid January's MOM 'Congrats, you'll do real well!'

And if I dont get thrown off the 'vine for writing such bad poetry, I'll still be on to post just as much as I have before! (Was that screams of 'Oh No!' I was hearing from all around the UK?

Well done Mrs D!!!

It's a great honour to be invited to the Officer's Club for a short while, but its nice to get back to the 'beer and butties' of the rank and file as well!!!!Hope you enjoyed it!

I was just discussing with Nick and Snadger about how all those banners lower the tone of the site, a bit Soho ish if you get my drift. What with Lesley having cards in telephone boxes to boot.
