Ok, so it's a good excuse not to shave, but it's also just a nice bit of fun way to raise some valuable money for a worthy cause. (I lost my nan to the disease).

If you can spare anything, I'd be most grateful.

If any other dudes (or dudettes..?!) are taking part, good luck with the itching...

More than generous - I remember the days when a pound was considered the norm. Thank you!

In all honesty, it's not like I'm actually doing a lot is it?

Handsome is as handsome does and you are. How is Lady Wayne coping with the beard? No, I didn't mean to imply that she is growing one cheeky!

                            Today's update. https://twitter.com/#!/HayWayne/stat...823168/photo/1

If I look tired it's because I am. Bean is full of cold, and hasn't slept for the past few nights. As a result, neither have I.

I know a few folk have kindly tried to donate, but have been unable to as they don't have a paypal account etc. This morning I have noticed there is a possibility for people to donate via text.

If you'd like to do this, please text the following code and amount eg: "DHMT97 £1" to 70070

The text is free, and you will also have the chance to GiftAid the donation is desired.

Thanks everyone who has donated thus far - every penny helps!
