There's enough for a whole field there!
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

My 25 Spunta arrived today and are lurking on the downstairs loo window sill to chit in a big egg box (no heating), they are 2nd earlies and I panicked because they were'nt here yet, and the dear people at Italian Seeds pointed out they too had had a loony snowfall which had delayed everything. I plan to plant out some fully chitted for salad potatoes and rub off the sprouts for some to grow big mamas.

But then last year we had one plate of Anyas - so wahddo I know?!

I take it you're quite fond of potatoes

I haven't even got mine yet (*wonders whether you might notice if a few went missing*)

Fiona - I did the same and Mr Z said it looks like a shop.

I have no idea how many lotties I'd need to plant that lot out and - even though I like maths - I'm not going to even attempt to work it out.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

i have about 120 seed potatoes in trays in my kitchen ..... but i don't really have room in the kitchen so it's a bit of a mess .... and everyone asks why i've got potatoes everywhere ......

next winter the spare bedroom will become an indoor greenhouse for the winter .....
