On a Saturday morning i work for an ace charity called Emmhaus which trains and provides education and shelter for homeless people. They are a fab organisation and working in the shop is a total blast, it is more like a trendy boutique than a charity shop but with bargain prices.
We have a manekin that our Assistant manager has named Cheryl after Cheryl Cole, he dresses her up in second hand gear in fab styles to emulate covers in heat, o.k etc mags.
She gets lots of really positive attention and her outfits sell almost the minute she goes in the window. She has her own Facebook page, we were taking the mickey out of our assistant manager as she gets more hits than him!
If you have a minute, go onto Facebook and ask her to be your friend, i have a feeling she will say yes and it will wind our fab, slightly nutty and totally wonderful assistant manager up the tree!! Just put in cherylemmhaus. Cheers guys

    Miffy,
I love Emmhaus, brilliant organisation, started over this side of the channel, founded by Abbe Pere who sadly died a couple of years ago.

I'm not on Faceache but will instruct my daughter to befriend said model.

'Cheryl Emmaus' on Facheache looks suspiciously mannequin like?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Madmax and I furnished our first home in Holland with goods from Emmaus! Their store in Eindhoven is also largely responsible for Madmax's obsession with valve-powered technology

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
