  • Chase Barn Cloche's

    Hi All,
I have just subscribed to this site, and I have very little time today to introduce myself, but I will say that I garden a large private allotment, with large Victorian Greenhouses.
In one of the magazines letters, a reader was asking if Chase Barn Cloche's could still be purchased, and I remembered a advertisement in one of the old magazines where a company was still making them, two weeks ago I wrote and sent off for 20 Barn Cloche fittings, yesterday they came, all brand new. In a corner of the Victorian green house there is a lot of cut glass 24ins long and 12ins wide. So now I can put the winter onion sets under glass.
If anyone wants the address and price list I will gladly supply it.

    Cheers

    Dave

    Welcome to the vine Dave.Stewart0308
I once had Chase Barn Cloches - it use to scare the life out of me when building them!!!
All that 'grinding' glass sound - makes me come over all cold just thinking about it and that was about 20 years ago now!!!
