  • Challenges for Piskie

You said you would help me get through 'it' - so here goes please thank you....

I estimate I will have approx 103* days until SD returns and I also know, from experience, that I will spend a good portion of the first few weeks bouncing off the walls, walking from room to room, picking up something, putting down something.

So, can you each give me a challenge that I can try and rise to - no matter how small?

    Nice peeps

He'll be due back on my Birthday then....or the day after.....so you could plan my surprise

Don't tell me though, or I'll know.

No - do tell me, I don't like surprises.

        Oh, you got me now......confused.com

Your Challenge, should you choose to accept it...

Right - I'm up for that.

          From the top:

          1) knit something - Flums got a pattern for woolly hats for charities.
          2) pick a list of 10 books you would like to/really should read. That's one every 10 days, should do nicely.
          3) really get into a self help book - in my experience they all fall down when you have to consider someone else - you don't have to consider anyone for a while, so you can have cabbage soup for a week, or do yoga and chanting every morning for half an hour
          4) do dance classes & amaze him with your belly dancing when he gets back
          5) take a short course in creative writing/lacemaking/chinese cookery/birdwatching - details in local library
          6) go to one 'event' a week - townswomens guild/WI/Mothers union (don't laugh)/Soroptomists etc etc
          .
          .
          .
I'll be back with more later

Have to decline that one, sadly, we aren't allowed them in MQ gardens - but I will put that one into my 'what we will do after 18 Dec 2015 file

I have to admit to being nervous about the sewing/knitting ones - cos I don't own any needles and wouldn't be sure what to do with them if I did and SD does any 'mending' (he's trained)

Mind you - seeing as my BP was 149/100 this arvo maybe I should learn this gentle stuff - but I'm probably more a kick-boxing type, but nice with it
