    A Cats Concert

    It's a beautiful, moonlit night here, and I heard the most awwul racket.
    I went out to see what was happening and there was about 6 cats all sitting howling. I've only ever seen that once before.
    It didn't seem to be about mating calls.
    Anybody know what that's about ?

    From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

    tom cats do it when they are going to fight i think, i have 2 tom cats who sing to each other and scrap quite a lot! not 100% sure but i would presume that was the only other alternative, either that or it was choir practice!

      Sounds hilarious! My cat talks when he's really angry/stressed. It makes me shiver, it's so eerie! The thought of 6 all together sounds quite funny, though.

          I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite,the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
