  • Carbon Offsetting

I know it's a contentious subject, but I thought this was kinda cool:

    Contentious - pah!
It's all a load of b***s, an excuse to tax and bleat.
I have yet to see or hear any even remotely convincing arguaments.
But do plant a tree if it makes you feel better!!!

I like the idea of calorie offsetting. If you eat a salad, you're allowed pudding!

and if you buy sweeties by the quarter, in paper bags, they haven't got any calories in, cos it doesn't say anything on the bag

If people want to spend money on carbon off-setting, they can buy me a wind turbine and photovoltic roof....I won't refuse.

How can I go about offsetting my methane levels, they certainly seem a little high at present.

                  oops, excuse me.

Cut your pea and bean intake! (Or at least, open a window!)

tis true ........ kit kats never used to have calories either, but i guess they put a silly label on now so they have?

it also works with cakes and biccies from our market stall, they are well known brands with the boxes removed ...... therefore no calories and no wasted box

oh and did you know, special k has more sugar than frosties ...... therefore frosties must have less calories
