You should know better SBP.

What you are doing is giving these people the oxygen of publicity that they seem to crave. When you see spam -
1 - Dont encourage them by talking about them.
2 - Don't click on any links in their messages.
3- Don't reply to them by email or private message .
4- Alert the moderators and let them deal with them.
5- Delete all messages from the spammer from your inbox.

Put a stamp on the tin and send it . Remember to check the postage guides as to the correct amount of stamps .You don't want the receiver to have to pay to receive it do you now.

Bet you wish you'd said that in the first place

Seriously though, it can get confusing if posts are moved, changed, deleted etc all over the place but there are unfortunately times when it's necessary and it's not exactly like either of the above had a history of informative posting and were just having a bad day is it?????

Beefy is right: Inform the Moderators. Put the Spammer on your Ignore list (click on their name, view their public profile, then hit Ignore ~ you won't see any more of their messages or inane ramblings)

I'd like to take one of the keys from a tin of Spam and see if I could open the spammers up using it! Scourge of the earth - well, one of 'em.
