  • Bit upset... in need of some sunshine

Got the family ready to go out to our allotment this morning, when we got to the car, the rear window is smashed.

After a police phone call, insurance phone call, £50 excess paid, the car is now at the garage and will be fixed tomorrow.
police are going to check CCTV and see if anybody else reported anything.

That means I can't go to work tomorrow, my boy won't go to nursery.

I am feeling really shitty just now. I know this is not too bad, but I am so upset.

I'll try and figure out the sunday bus timetable up to the allotments for now, to see if at least I can do something to cheer me up.

Anybody got something nice to say to make me smile please? Hubby's walking back home from the garage now, cause that bus line doesn't operate on a sunday.

Make sure you don't take it to heart, Tiachia - the window breakers were just targeting a thing, not a person. Did they take anything? It has taken me 2 car window smashing episodes to teach me never to leave anything in the car. (I'm a slow learner!)
On a brighter note the sun is beaming down here (* pops some up to Tiachia in a thought wave, along with a virtual hug!) the birdies are soon going to be nesting, the seeds are popping up and we are just round the corner to another year of miracles and wonder on the plot!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Poor you, that's rotten. Have a hug and a smile from me and think of your bus journey as an adventure, which I'm sure it will be if you're used to a car and plan a fun day with the boys for tomorrow. Keep smiling.

Oww, that's horrid trachica, I had all 4 of my tyres slashed last year and its heart breaking to think someone could do that to you, I like yourself couldn't work out why and I felt targeted, but there's a lot of horrible people out there and at the end of the day, windows mend, no one was hurt and your with lots of friends here that will support you and cheer you up.
We have lots of nice warm sunshine here today so I'll send some your way, ((((((BIG HUGS))))) for you, and yours. xxx

Forgot to say Tiachica, I was thinking about you yesterday. I was rifling through my seed box and came across some from you in the seed swap! Smiles all round.

That is just plain nasty, no wonder you feel horrible. I can offer sympathy cause we've all been there. If you can't work tomorrow and your wee boy can't get to nursery can you sow some seeds together, tomorrow in the NE looks like it's going to be a good day (just seen weather forecast).

I had my car window smashed even when it was obvious there was nothing in there worth taking. Also the wing mirrors. Mindless idiots with nothing better to do. I have sunshine (even if it's very cold) and you're welcome to share it.

                  Awww... thank you all.

Bus timetable looks favourable... 2 buses every hr which works out fine.

I am sorry for all the experience you lot had too. It's difficult to comprehend.
i'll be working from home tomorrow, so that's sorted. I like the idea of sowing some stuff. :-) and I would love a cuppa in France, lol.

The sunshine is surely gonna break a hole in the clouds too, after I got sent so much by all your kind souls!

Thank you... off to make me a hot cuppa of chocolate!

Just think, Tiachia - you may have one of those 'Golden Days' tomorrow instead of just another Monday!

Sorry to hear your woes, and I hope being at your lottie cheers you up. Mindless vandalism is just that; mindless.

Look on the bright side; a new window doesn't need cleaning!!!!!!

I am so sorry that you've felt so rotten today tia.
Albeit late, I can let you have plenty of Funny Farm Sunshine, and a Funny Farm Hug from Trousers, me and the cat, and I do apologise, but it comes with a Farmyard smell?....
Oh, and now you'll have to wipe that bit of sheep poo off your ear ....sorry 'bout that darling!
Make Monday your own, and thoroughly enjoy it sweetheart.X

That's rotten tiachica - I know its horrible when somone does things like that - have experienced it myself - down to petrol cyphoning (however you spell it) or scratching names (my own name in this case) on my car (like I don't know that already, and they spelt it wrongly). Anyways you have a nice day regardless of what you chose to do and don't let them get you down.
