  • big lump of hairy flesh

nope not talking about the OH ...... well ok he is, ........but i'm referring to the most disgusting thing that cleo has just brought in and presented to me whilst i was lying in bed ...... yup was ermmmm very pleased ...... yesterday i think she caught her first mouse .... she was sooooo pleased with herself, and was dead upset when i took it off her (normally she just steals asbos mice)

anyway to the lump, it was totally gross, a big lump of skin, with streaks of blood, and a cream puff of fur ....... i can only think it may have been cat fur, cos i can't think of anything else it could be, but where on earth she's got it from i have no idea, i've never seen a cat round here that colour ..... and she doesn't go far, and neither her or asbo look like they have been fighting, as i'm sure they must have been to get a lump that big, and it was definitely fresh, cos the blood was bright red ...... so a weird mystery that will probably never be solved, she's probably found it somewhere ..... anyway tis in the bin now, and she's mooching round looking for it.

i really hate weird mysteries like this one

Do you have a vet nearby? Perhaps a remnant from surgery and Cleo has raided the bins and found the hairy, lump of flesh.

Hmmm..that was my first thought too!

Ferrets can be that colour too- but I can't imagine a cat would be able to see off a ferret?????

she's only just caught her first mouse, and actually likes playing with bunnies, and she's only ikkle, she likes playing, would definitely play with a ferret ...... she probably only killed the mouse by accident lol ...... have studied the lump this morning, tis very soft fur, feels much too long and soft fluffy for bunny, or even cat, (even fluffy ones) ....... more like fluffy hamster ....... is now really hoping she didn't sneak in someones house last night and munch a bit out of a pet hamster.

I used to go out with a fella who had a springer spaniel, his mum was a bit of a Mrs Bucket you know the sort as soon as you put your cup down she is clearing it away!
We were sitting in their 'lounge' one day,me desperately trying not to dribble any coffee down the side of my cup, as she had that look and tut ready.
The dog walks in after going out for her walk, starts wretching and sicked up a whole rotten dead rat! It was absolutely perfect, his mum was apperplectic, i had to leave the room and go down the bottom of the garden so i could laugh out loud, classic!!
                Well done Suzy the springer.
