  • Bean here for 6 months now

Well, it's been 6 months since LadyWayne hatched our Bean and I have to say that the old adage of babies being "life changing" is woefully inadequate!

It's made keeping on top of the garden and allotment quite tricky to say the least, but I wouldn't have it any other way - Bean is, quite simply amazing.

He has had his first tooth now for a few weeks and he loves making use of it. We've tried him with several different food stuffs and he hasn't turned his nose up at anything. He loves gumming a stick of celery/cucumber/carrot/sweet pepper and has recently been seen slobbering on soldiers of bread or on spelt flour biscuits.

He wakes up happy - and always has a smile for you when you go and get him first thing. He is a happy baby and rarely grumbles (although he has a tendancy like his daddy, to fight sleep).

I know 6 months isn't exactly a birthday , but it's a milestone and I'm keen to mark as many milestones as we can.

Looks like his next one will be crawling.

    Son, I love you!

Awww, Wayne, that's lovely. You are such proud parents and justifiably so - here's to the next 6 months and the rest of his life.

Erm, can I just say though - do I detect a little grey around the temples

                That's children for you! -
They put a song in your heart, a space in your wallet and grey in your hair.

He's gorgeous, thanks for the pic and happy half-birthday to him and you all.
