  • Barbecue this weekend?

This weekend (Saturday I think) sees the annual Harlington allotment barbecue.

LadyWayne and I were away last year and the year before that there either wasn't one, or I knew nothing about it becasue I hadn't yet got an allotment.

Anyway, this year we've decided to go along, and I spoke to our neighbours who now also have a plt, and they are planning to go too.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the weather'll be dire so, what's your vote?

Which is, let's face it how we'll probably end up given that we're taking Bean with us.

I ran out of buttons - otherwise that's option 5.

Sorry I've voted for the breathing apparatus. Barbeques = horizontal rain and flooding on biblical proportions

Only requirement is "bring your own drink and seating".

            How cool is that?

I'm hoping for a barbie too this weekend and the weather forecast is looking good! Hopefully now the Met office has said August won't be too good that will be the green light for better weather. I'm hoping for a number 4, but do a number 2 (?!) just in case!

BBQs sort out the men from the boys. Men will cook whatever its doing. Boys will run in at the first spot of rain.

Sorry NOG - you might know how to cook but NEVER let TOH near!

The good thing about Summer rain is it's normally warm rain that doesn't particularly get you wet...unless of course it's a cold day & the rain's hard!
Flip flops & 3/4 lengths for me!(although I'd go for the chunky DM sandals that protect you from puddles!)
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
