    I was in Tesco tonight and they had Back to School posters up....gauld the kids haven't even broken up yet. It will be Easter Eggs next.

    ......The Easter Eggs aren't out until Boxing Day!

    Christmas stuff will hit the shops in August though

      yeah and it's not like you can get them a new uniform and especially not new shoes yet cos you've not got a clue what size they'll be in in 2 months time

        *feeling quite smug as Daisy not only has all her new uniform but also got her pencilcase & contents yesterday!....prob won't be quite so smug come September when I discover it's already lost!

          I feel sorry for the kids....I loved the holidays and the back to school signs were the sign it was ending.

              This is why I don't like shopping; I end up ranting at the OH and having to sit quietly in a dark room. SO many reasons to rant at supermarkets; just don't know where to stop.

              At least at the Co-op, the only reason to rant is that they leave cages of Special Offer French Fancies in the walkway, or a bunch of OAPs are stood around the garibaldis having a good old natter.

                So true and when you try and buy the shoes a few days before they go back, they haven't got any in your child's size so you end up driving round for days to all the different shoe shops trying to track some down
