  • Aren't Kids Great!

Just had to share this with you...

My DS has just come in with a surprise for me ... a bucket full of nettles to make fertiliser! You probably think I'm mad but I think that that was just the nicest thing!

He does like the garden but 'wasn't in the mood' today and wanted to 'work' on his 'building site' with his tractors, diggers etc. He often says I've lost the plot (excuse the pun) and I'm just mad about soil and veg, and that I read too many gardening mags and books! Must be rubbing off though!
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.

well it is Mothers day in the southern hemisphere.... maybe he read the wrong calender

Bless him. May the bug bite him good! That way you can spend even more quality time with him
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

A lovely surprise - a gift that is fresh and really good for you! Obviously he's learning in a happy way from being with you in the garden.

Years ago, one of my daughters once brought me a handful of dandelions 'to make piss-a-bed wine' - don't they make lovely memories!
