amazon? Youngest ordered some items ages ago . She had a confirmation e-mail and then an e-mail to say that the items had been despatched (7th Dec) No sign of them ........She's e-mailed them and had no response. People at work today were also complaining about missing orders from Amazon..Surely the weather can't be completely responsible?

I have to say I have recieved all my items. Were they being dispatched directly by Amazon or from another supplier because you may have to contact the supplier direct rather than Amazon?AKA Angie -

Hmm that's not good then, presumably they are stuck at some post office somewhere as they say they have been dispatched. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they turn up!

lots and lots of amazon stuff are late. they have a few delivery centres, one in scotland and one in wales.
If it's been despatched then it's stuck in the postal system. I just received something ordered 7th december on super saver delivery, so keep your fingers crossed.
Try phoning them to get a refund if you need to get the items from a real shop.Comment

No problems with Amazon, but about an hour ago I had a second dispatch confirmation with a different order number for some stuff I ordered from WHSmiths a couple of days ago

it took 2 weeks for a first class card to arrive for me, and 15 days for a first class parcel.

We have had several items direct & indirect from Amazon over the last few weeks no problem.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I ordered two items at the beginning of December and received them yesterday. One came direct from Amazon, the other from a seller in Taunton. I received 2 emails from Amazon explaining they could not give a delivery date due to the weather conditions. Fingers crossed your parcels are on their way, the weather is creating havoc with deliveries.Comment

I have always had a brilliant response from amazon. There was only the one dvd that didnt turn up and they refunded straight away. Some items are taking ages recently though. However the last items arrived 2 days ago.http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jamiesjourney

I have 4 items outstanding from Amazon, I've had all the email saying they've been dispatched but nothing has come yet. So looks like number 1 son will be getting a letter from Santa saying they fell of the slay and he'll get them when he finds them..Chris
