  • Anyone based anywhere near Brussels?

    Hi folks,

Just wondering if any of you on the Continent are based in or near Brussels, Belgium?

I am wondering about info on the city as a place to live generally (there is a work possibility coming up in a few months time and trying to decide whether to apply or not).

But I'd also love to know about lottying etc in the area, as I am really torn at the thoughts of giving up my current plot (knowing it will be nigh on impossible to get it back when I get home in 4 years time). But would it be possible to get one there? (Or would I be wise to buy pots before I move for garden, or buy them over there on the basis they'd be cheap as chips?!).

Basically, any thoughts, info etc would be greatly appreciated. (And I'd be staying in the Irish system in terms of tax etc if that makes any difference).

Wings (Maybe they'll be flapping again soon !! )

        I was asking for that, wasn't I?!

Even anyone who has relocated and has any useful tips would be great.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
