  • Anti bird strike stickers?

    Can anyone help please....
What is the correct name for the stickers that are used on large glass windows to stop the birds flying into them please.....and does anyone know where to get them from?
I need some very 'sensible' ones ie not butterflies or fairies etc!!!

    Many thanks

I think the bird of prey shaped stickers are supposed to work. Here's a link to some.
        Window Bird feeder Feeders
Some more here, slightly more expensive but they come in different colours for different situations.

Thanks, folks! any that are more office looking?
Do the bird ones not make the birds think it a safe place- as other birds (all be it sticky back ones) are flying in that area (the window) so it must be ok to fly there too?

They are birds of prey, so they are supposed to scare off smaller birds, which tend to recognise the danger of 'that shape'.

Not sure if they still sell them but they used to sell falcon silhouettes at the Hawk Conservancy - a good excuse to go back there methinks

I never need an excuse, just an opportunity!

I have a problem with bird strike on a front bedroom window, I've found greenfinches, chaffinches and even a spotted woodpecker. I'm trying the sentinel stickers from CJ wild bird foods that SueA linked to and so far so good.

                    how about something like this
Frosted Window Film - Privacy Window Film - Decorative Window Film
                    lines/dots/squares
I've used the squares before cut up and put half way up on full height glass sliding folding doors as a safety feature not sure if it would work with birds ?
                    was it something like this
