  • Allotted Time -book

I have just downloaded this from Amazon to my Kindle. It sounds pretty good as they go through the pains that many of us do to get things in shape. Looks like a nice change to the romantic view other books place on growing crops as these guys battle with clearing the land and the dreaded bind weed etc. Anyone read it yet?

I had this book from the library a while ago - I thought it was really good and "down to earth". I liked the fact that they didn't try to say growing stuff was easy but it was all done in a light hearted manner and very funny in parts. A good read.

If anyone wants to buy this book, or any other book, a good place to start is GreenMetropolis Green Metropolis where all books cost £3.75, including p&p for standard size books. Several copies of this book for sale at the moment!

You can sell your books there too, Matt - you get £3 back and most of the remaining 75p goes to charity.
I buy quite a lot of books from them.

I'vs listed loads of books on Green Metropolis over the last 3to4 years and have only ever sold 2. In fact the last one was listed for so long that when it did sell I'd forgottened I'd listed it and had put it in a charity bag so had to cancel the order!

Glad you like it Nutton I've known about GreenMetropolis for so long I just assume that everyone else does too Looks like there may be some competition for the books I'd like now!
Incidentally, the Wish List works very well. List the books you'd like to buy and they email you when someone offers it for sale. I've bought quite a few books that way
