      Hmm...
We are off on holiday soon, driving down to the South of France with my OH's 11 yr old daughter. Fun fun fun in the car car car...not

Lets hope the iPod/nintendo/dvd player keep her amused - or she gets so bored she falls asleep. 2 days there, and 2 days back constant driving.

We don't break up until 23rd July, but the kids all think they shouldn't do any work from now on! Not looking forward to my year 9 lesson on Thursday I'm really looking forward to the break myself, although I will be going in to do planning ready for next year.
I told my year 7s they had to finish their database project so we could have the last lesson doing some animation. They were really keen! Little do they realise I am testing a new subject on them, which we intend to introduce in year 7 next year Hopefully I'll be able to identify problem areas before rolling it out to all the groups.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
            Now a little Shrinking Violet.

Love the summer hols, love having my kids with me all the time, and having time to do different things, or even ordinary things! I guess, the same as some others, being a teacher makes it feel very differently!

I'm really looking forward to the break. Not having a great time at work, my appraisal keeps being put off so looking forward to taking my two kids out and about. Show them where I grew up in Cheltenham and go visit the coast for a few days also amongst other trips.

Whats the bet they'll still get up at 6:30 in the morning !?
I'm new to veggies, but trying !

I look forward to the summer hols cos I dont have to get up although I dont lie in for too long and flowers is not an early riser anyway. She hates the holidays cos she loves school.
                      Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
                      and ends with backache

I can't wait!!1 week to go & counting down the days!this time next weds we'll prob still be in our p.j's,no mad rush. Just got back from nursery(forgot i'd said i'd help out),having walked the mile to nursery we had to take part in a charity "toddle"(about another mile),followed by the slightly over a mile walk home!I love walking but poor little Ash's legs were really starting to struggle!Anyway ,just home, rush lunch & a bit of housework before it's off out again to get D from school.Just seems like a constant mad rush with no decent time in between. Also I think us parents get the short end of the stick schooltime~the mad rush to get to school on time & then the tired littluns late arvo while you're trying to get tea ready, then no sooner have you finished tea it's almost time for bed! Bit of a waffle sorry but I can't wait for the summer hols!!(I'll prob be on here in 4weeks time pulling my hair out LOL)
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

Can't wait, less less traffic on the roads so much less chance of getting run over when I cycle into work!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                              No you're not - you're normal

I love my 3 to bits but the prospect of bad weather keeping them stuck indoors on the verge of killing one another fills me with dread!

Thank goodness for brownie camp, sailing lessons and two weeks camping...
