  • Tumbelina seeds???

    Hi all,
every year I go to my local garden centre and buy a dozen or so Tumbelina plants for my hanging baskets - I love 'em, that beautiful strong scent! But at 70p a plant in ends up being a little pricey. I've looked in many seed catalogues and can't find them, does anyone know where you can find them - if at all?
    many thanks
    Eden

    Hi,

Tumbelinas are a cutting raised protected variety.
They are not from seed, as they will not come true from seed.

    Which ones are you after.

    Regards

    Neil

After searching I'd guess that it's not possible to buy seed for that particular Petunia.

If that's the case it's probably because it doesn't come true from seed, doesn't produce viable seed or is licenced (where it becomes illegal to germinate the seed without permission). I could be wrong though.
