Just got meself an allotment its a bit weedy and iv'e got to find me corners but iv'e paid me money and got a key so i'm a bonafidy alloment owner. Can't wait to get stuck in.All the best Phattaff

Must admit minds going into overdrive at the mo plans for soft fruits, greenhouse, raised beds, compost bins, chickens you name it i've thought about it, lucky i have a more pratical otherhalf to slow me down so first job is to clear the weeds and poss get one bed going as you say Chuffa less haste more speed.
May even do a little bit each month on how things are going and poss even add pictures.
And of course will be bending peoples ears with questions.
Hope to get over there this evening after work wish me luck.

Hi, welcome, and congratulations on getting a lottie. Isnt it just the greatest feeling?? This is my first year with one as well and I just love it - setbacks notwithstanding! Just start small, a bit at a time and dont try to overdo things. Good luck with it all - cant wait to see the piccies!Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance
