Default Onions bolting - advice please?

With the recent wet weather the onions I planted last autumn are starting to form seed heads. Is it a good idea to break these off or just let them carry on?

Break them off Martin unless you really want the seed. The goodness will go into the seed head rather than the bulb.

PS Welcome to the Vine!!!

Hi Martin, some of mine did the same, I cut them off as soon as I saw them and the remaining plants/bulbs are doing fine
