Finally managed to get my hands on a couple of Blueberry plants on Saturday.. woo hoo! so a quick trip to homebase to spend some of the christmas vouchers on a bag of ericaecous compost and they are now potted up and sat on the terrace.
Managed to get the coldframe put together as well, not the easiest of things to do, definitely not the best designed item I've ever come across.. but its done and it'll hopefully be warming up the soil underneath.
After flicking through the latest GYO have decided to give some of Mr Fothergills Suger Snap peas a go this year, tried early onwards last year but fancy some that can go on a wigwam and grow reasonably tall. Could I find any Mr F's seeds anywhere? could I heckers like!!!! gong to have to do some more searching it seems.
The strawbs continue to do well and the lettuce and the radishes will be ready for transplanting in to the greenhouse next weekend... No activity on the peppers yet..
Spring is coming, spring is coming, sprig is coming.. :-)
