Default dogs and cats with chickens?

anyone got any ideas on how to introduce a cat and dog to chickens?

they are familiarising themselves with chicken house which is on patio at mo, getting chickens in around a weeks time.

also have bird table near where chicken's quarters will be ( is there any danger of disease) with wildbirds and chickens? thanx in advance

Hi angelat,i have a dog ,cat, and chickens and i;ve not had a problem with them mixing. The birds may be a bit wary at first when cat,dog go sniffing around them but they soon get used to each other.I now let the birds out into the garden, they are perfectly ok.just make sure your dog understands that the birds are a no go area.Dont know about disease with the wild birds though. There is always that chance i guess. All the best to you anyway.
