Can't believe I missed it, Have been told that it mentioned bleak news for the bees though.
Dont have an ipod, any other way of catching up on the missed program

You don't need an ipod to watch it Sue,
take a look here all you have to do is click on crichmons's link
I think you can just watch it on your computer - not exactly sure though because we can't get it here in France
So, enjoy the programme.

There was also a Radio 4 "The Living World" feature on sunday moring at 06:30 ish. Click here to listen again. Lionel Kellaway was with a military beekeeper on Salisbury Plain.

And there was a piece in the Guardian Magazine Saturday just gone, about the colony collapse disorder in the US and how it is affecting Europe. Online link is here, but the article has been rubbished as old news & inaccurate by a chap in our local group.

Bee stories are everywhere right now.

Hi all,
And someone has just pinged me an article by the LibDemer Vince Cable in today's Daily Mail. There REALLY are bees everywhere in the news right now.

It's not just the diseases they have to contend with at the moment it is also this awful weather. Poor bees just having it hard always!
Thanks for the link though Plot17b.

ps - The bee problem was even mentioned in an episode of Dr Who several weeks back!!
