Block the outside holes? Or buy a chemical to kill them which you can spray into the brick.

If you have to kill them, this works and is recommended by local councils: ALDI - Thursday Special Buys 30th June 2011

If you have cavity walls act quickly they can get into the roof space as the cavities are open at the top.

I have recently had them in the top of the bedroom bay window and the noise in the night was keeping us awake.
So, once i have watched to see where they were getting in, i got an aerosol fly and wasp spray and opened the window and every hour for a day gave it a good spray until the liquid was dripping back out of the gap. Problem solved.. cost 2 quid..
