| Maybe someone can help me, I seem to have 2 different types of slugs - long, thin black ones in the garden and on the patio, and shorter, fatter orange coloured ones, of which I have seen MANY on the new allotment. Which ones are the worst offenders from an "eating your veg and flowers" perspective? (or are they all as bad as each other?) |

| Unfortunately all slugs will take the opportunity to eat your veg if they get the chance. They are great at eating all the debris around the garden, but boy do they like something nice and fresh, too. In our garden, the large slugs are spending most of their time in the compost heap (at the moment). That's fine - they're doing an important job. Woe betide them if they start leaving it, though! Small slugs and snails can be surprisingly destructive and are tricky to find - one of the worst problems is if you have little slugs in the soil as they do like a potato! If they're munching your veggies, it matters not whether they're big or small! |

| It was I Alice - it was one of the thinner pale sort but it was on its own. Billy no-mates! Maybe it was just feeling a bit frisky! It got the bum's rush out of the greenhouse pretty sharpish I can tell you!

| I saw the post Flummery, just couldn't remember who it was. Maybe they had been copulating in your greenhouse . Apparently they sometimes get tangled up and bight their partners penises off ! No joking ! Google for it.
