| I find that chickweed acts as a living mulch as well, it keeps the soil moist aroiund the plants, especially in drought conditions! Sorry to hear about your cabbage SW..............bet I can guess whats on the menu for tonight tho.......pigeon pie per chance?

I shall be having strict words with that lot, vandals the lot of them ![]() sorry to hear about your losses, maybe you could have a competition for local schools to design a scarecrow? Something with lots of moving bits? Pigeon pie would be more satisfying though.
