Default Eelworm got your spuds ?

If any of you have problems with eelworm getting to your potato crop, take a look at alan romans website and see under Foil-sis (Branstons). This is a crop which mimics thepotato crop and stimulates the eelworm into hatching and becoming active, only for them then to find that there is no food for them as the plant is not a potato after all - sneaky but really good idea

Wow i like the thought of this. My plot hadn't been worked for 3 years +, due to the fact it is on an almight slot - I guess .
With all the grass roots around i think i will be sacrificing my first sowing of potatoes, would be interesting to grow this and compare. At £1 for 360 seeds it wount break the bank - will give it some serious thought.
Have you tried it or are you thinking of giving it a go SR?

Hi Denise
No, I haven't tried it - just read about it and thought it was worth posting as I know several grapes have complained about eelworm in the past. If I ever discover eelworm on my site, I would definitely give it a go though.
