| Hi All, I have a small blueberry bush ( Herbert Variety ) which has fruited for the first time this year and last night whilst picking my first ripe batch, I had quite a few with a hole in the top of them. On closer inspection, there was a small green caterpillar in each one about 2mm diameter x 12 - 14mm long. They moved quick and hung on a fine thread when disturbed. Several more were spotted under leaves and each seemed to have a small web close by. Does anyone have a clue what it is and how to combat it. I fear my crop will be lost otherwise. Also, if you know what it is, will it affect other fruit, Blackcurrant, gooseberry etc. Thank all Darren |

| Thanks for that but it is not the culprit. I have found out exactly what it is though. The cranberry fruit fly! Stupid or what, they don't know the difference between a cranberry and a blueberry. Darren |
