Default Acrobatic slug!

When I opened up my greenhouse this morning I noticed a small slug, just at eye level, hanging from a thread of slug slime from the roof. Nice try buster! Has anyone else seen them doing this? No wonder they get onto greenhouse staging - they don't need to climb onto it they can drop from the heavens!

It's usually snails that go for the climbing stuff. Never seen a slug that high before.

don't know if it was slug or snail but someone left a very interesting pattern of slime all along 1 wall of my greenhouse yesterday morning looked everywhere for the culprit but he must have made a quick exit.

Don't slugs climb when they're mating? Sure I've seen a programme where it showed slugs mating - a most bizarre spectacle: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...%3Den%26sa%3DN

YUUUUUUUUUk !! that is so disgusting. The thought of 'flying' slugs is bad enough but that..................... I think I will sell my greenhouse now - the thoughts of walking in there in a morning 1/2 asleep

Last night, we went on slug hunt - OH cut one in two - the head then crawled forward for a few inches, looped and started heading back to the rest of itself...

No, definitely a thread of slug slime. I had to hook it off with a stick to dispose of it. I went in a bit carefully this morning I can tell you!
