That'll be those of us living in France then?

KK has just gone for a long walk with the dog and, although it's very windy, it is dry and there are even signs of sunlight. I'm not being too cocky though, I guess it will just be a matter of time before we get it

I was about to post something about weather systems - but decided not to tempt fate.
It has only been cold this winter because I was reliably informed that we were in for a mild winter (something about onion skins).

Actually, as we have a few french grapes here - where do you all get your seed spuds from (and do you take out a second mortgage to buy them)???

i've bought mine in GammVert for the past two years...havent actually checked whether they are pricier than elsewhere and i didnt grow spuds in engerland cos i only had a tiny garden.i believe gammvert is expensive but its a lovely shop. I was looking at wellies and the cheapest were over 20 euros so i went to Gepi (?) and got some for 7.99.
havent bought my potatoes yet this year but will probably get them next week ....as you can see from my photos my land is not ready for them yet and i got blight in the garden last year so am loth to put them in again.........

I can categorically confirm that in Dharfur we have no snow.
I do find Gammvert expensive, and dont go there often. For any Froglets passing through Bretagne, or its environs I would recommend the worlds finest garden centre. Its in a place called Jennes (I think) near La Guerche de Bretagne. It is quite simply enormous, and very very reasonably priced.
Will get my seed spuds this year when I get home from a little shop in La Guerche, old fella been selling seeds and spuds forever. Very knowledgable and a lovely old guy to boot.
