      Nicos

I'm gutted - have been off work since Xmas eve and around here the ground has been frozen solid since ! - temp has not got above 0C since then and not going to and I'm about to start back in work, need to get my beds dug over, am now considering doing a dig versus no dig trial as I have dug 3 over with 5 to do !!

We've brought loads of plants over from the lottie- strawberries, blueberries, peach tree, rhubarb, black currants- and the ground here is frozen solid so there's clearly no chance of putting them in for at least a week- just hope they'll be OK in their plastic bags in the barn ( I'll cover then in newspapers or something)

Oh good- the forecast is warming up....only -12C expected now!!

Weather here has been really mild compared to what i am reading on here. Today was lovely, cool but sunny as was yesterday. Have some frosty fog tonight but nothing like your UK forecast.

ours has been really mild in comparison too, i've even been in the garden today ..... just looked out though, and it's snowing ....... it never said we were gonna get snow.

mind you most of our weather is forecasted from manchester airport, which is 224 miles baove sea level, we are 950 feet above, probably why it's always wrong.

It's been extremely windy all night ... my fence is bust again. I'm not fixing it this time, it can just fall down. s0d it.

It's been down to minus 2 again, and it's currently hailing. We "never" get weather like this here on the East Coast ... well, maybe for about 2 days in March.

It's meant to be getting really cold again this weekend folks ...snow in some places. It's been an icy East wind here today
