Well, its overcast and grey here and quite chilly. I can't believe we were all groaning about the heat last week!

It brightened up as the day went on though. I have been quite warm in the garden (mind you digging up trees is quite warm work)

Oddly enough it has been quite cold in the house - spooky

We had two lovely periods of warm sunshine today in North Staffs but the rest of the day it just chucked it down. But don't the weeds just love this combination of rain and sun? On the plus side, the late salad leaf seeds I put in just 3 days ago are germinating already.

Dull, overcast, miserable, raining, cold ..... YES It's a Bank holiday Weekend coming up!!!

Joy of Joys no chance of going to to the garden centre to get any compost cos of all the "Grockles" who only go for a lunch & buy some totally unsuitable plant for their designer home And the roads will be chokka

Grumpy ...me .... Never

The what??

Are they the kind of people who buy what I think of as "lifestyle" purchases?

I shan't worry about the weather this weekend... we're camping in Wales, so obviously it will p*ss it down...
