I am rather puzzled as well as dismayed about my maize. I planted
them all in a block formation with a foot between each plant. Healthyish
looking tall plants grew along one side and other they were smaller.
They are very yellow looking and at first I thought they needed a dose
of epsoms and this did no good. There were beans growing on this
patch last year. There also 6 courgette plants growing next door to them
and they look rather feeble although they are fruiting. They are not the
robust plants I usually have. Their leaves are not as rich and deep green
as they usually are either!
Can anyone enlighten me please?? Is there some soil borne disease in the
soil? The rest of my veggies on the plot look fine!
