| They should be fine - it just depends on whether you have any plans for this bit of ground. It'll be just like when you miss a spud at harvest time and get volunteers growing the following spring. If you need the space, dig them up. If you want the spuds, leave them!

| I had a bit of a failure with Chritmas spuds last year but managed to salvage three plants that didn't get frosted too badly, and transfer them to a large pot. They are now growing away merrily!
