  • Will my Cabbage seedlings recover?

    Hi all,

My Cabbage seedlings are looking a little worse for wear. Thier leaves seem to have wilted, although a few still have one healthy leaf. In the picture the 1's with the big leaves are cauliflowers which seem to be doin fine even though the lower leaves are wilted. They are in a unheated greenhouse. My frost tender seedlings are romping away(Toms Cukes Melons and peppers) as to are my pea and beans. My lettuce are a similar size on the windowsill so just wanted to make sure it's ok to move these to the greenhouse or will the same thing happen?

    Thanx all

They look a gonna to me, the green leaved plants (caulis) will probably be OK. What happened to them? Did they dry out?

Did it get too hot for them in there? They look a bit frazzled to me.

I have mine standing outside the greenhouse now.

Still time to sow a few more

          Thanx people,

Sown some more today. When I first moved them to the greenhouse i put them in a heated propagator without the lid to help them take the cold at night so this could have affected them. Always kept them well watered so no problem there but they do definatly look sizzled!! Think i'll leave any which still have a healthy leaf on

            they are scorched, aren't they?
Cabbages don't need any heat (think about it ... they are winter vegetables). Just put them in the unheated greenhouse next time.
