  • Where to find extra large pots?

I will be needing some extra large pots, cheaper the better. Probably 1-2 foot in depth and width, I dont mind if its plastic or some of those recycled material bags i saw? They surely should be cheap?

Anyone know where I can get these?

    Thanks!

If you have a quality save/home and bargain in your area they have trugs in for about £2.99. If you have a poundland then they have garden rubbish bags, not the plastic type, which are 60cmx60cmx50cm they hold 160ltrs you will need to figure some way to hold their shape while filling.

Have a look at Morrison's flower buckets to see if they are big enough. They are cheap.

Orange B&Q buckets are £1 each - they'll do for the good weather, but probably not last the winter!

Do you think the 12 litre bucket will be big enough for a F1 Becky pumpkin or a marrow?

builder's buckets are cheap at DIY store, or ask on freecycle.

I got some big terracotta coloured 50cm plastic tubs cheap from one of the places at Crewes Hill last year and it's always a good place for a wander.

A friend got me one of the large Ikea bags, it holds 70 lts, it's a rectangle so can be stood together side by side. They are 40p each.

                          This is the one:
IKEA | Bins & bags | Bags | FRAKTA | Carrier bag, large

This is the smaller one holding 36lts:
IKEA | Bins & bags | Bags | FRAKTA | Carrier bag, medium
