  • when to plant out peas?

    Hi,

I have been growing peas for 10 days now in peat pots. When do they want planting out? How tall do they have to be before planting?

Wait till the roots start growing out through the peat pots. Make sure you harden them off gradually.

I've already planted out 3 rows on the plot and other plot holders have sown direct and they're starting to come through now.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

You should see roots coming through your pots. As a rule a couple of inches is roughly the hight I plant mine out.

Hi Nackzucow, I know you told us in one of your earlier posts that you live in Yorkshire but could you add that to your profile please? Then it will show up on your posts.
