Default Wheat Grass?

Anyone ever grown Wheatgrass? Is it easy? Does it need any special attention?

I bookmarked this website a while ago.
http://www.ukjuicers.com/wheatgrassj...in25Kgsack.htm

From this wheat you grow your wheatgrass.
Or if you want to grow you own, you could 'lend' a book from this website called
Logsdon, Gene. Small-Scale Grain Raising. Emmaus, PA: Rodale Press, 1977.

Are you on a health kick or something WiZeR? The juice bars around here seem to have it just growing in little trays on the counter so it mustn't be difficult to grow or care for.

its seems that the best way to grow it is in those little trays. was thinking about growing it on the allotment but cant seem to find much info on it other than the little trays.

I actually haven't tried it yet, but I have just bought a masticating juicer, so was going to try wheatgrass as its supposed to be a super food.

Sue: I thought this whole GYO movement was a health kick

I'm sprouting the guinea's pigs seeds in a tray (they ignore the seeds but eat the green stuff that grows from them).
You got me wondering if I'm growing wheatgrass?

Yes but most of what we grow tastes nice (at least it should do if you wipe all the manure off properly! )

Where do you buy the seeds? Tried it once and it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever tried. Had to eat a bar of chocolate to take the taste away. It is meant to be very good for you; maybe I should try it again.
